⚠️ Status: Obsolete
The Silent Knight SK4 is a legacy suppression panel. Replacement boards are no longer manufactured. A full system upgrade is highly recommended.
Common Silent Knight SK4 Trouble Codes
- ZONE TROUBLE: A conventional initiating zone has an open circuit or a missing end of line resistor which prevents the panel from properly monitoring the detectors.
- NAC FAULT: The notification appliance circuit has a wiring break or short that will prevent the horns and strobes from sounding during an emergency.
- BATTERY TROUBLE: The backup power supply batteries have fallen below the required standby voltage or are completely disconnected from the main board.
- EARTH FAULT: A bare field wire on either a zone loop or notification circuit has made physical contact with a grounded backbox or metal conduit.

Is your legacy Silent Knight SK4 panel displaying constant zone faults in your Austin retail shop or small office? Our licensed technicians can troubleshoot these conventional wiring issues and provide a clear path to upgrade your obsolete hardware to ensure full code compliance.
