Common Fire-Lite MS-9600 Trouble Codes
- NO ANSWER: An addressable detector or module previously programmed to the signaling line circuit is no longer communicating with the main control board, indicating a faulty device or a break in the loop data line.
- COMM FAULT: The built-in digital alarm communicator transmitter has failed to communicate with the central monitoring station over the designated analog primary or secondary telephone lines.
- GROUND FAULT: A field wire from an initiating device loop or a horn-strobe notification circuit has stripped or shorted against a grounded metal conduit or backbox somewhere in the facility.
- BATTERY TROUBLE: The secondary backup power supply batteries are completely disconnected, missing, or failing to hold the minimum voltage required to pass the panel’s regular internal load test.
