The Fike Cheetah is a legacy addressable suppression panel. Replacement main boards are no longer manufactured. A full system upgrade to the Cheetah Xi or equivalent is highly recommended.

Common Fike Cheetah Trouble Codes

  • Ground Fault: A field wire on a data loop, notification, or agent release circuit is touching the metal conduit or panel enclosure.
  • Loop Fault (SLC Open): The addressable Signaling Line Circuit communication has been broken due to a cut wire, loose terminal, or missing detector.
  • Abort Active: The remote abort station has been engaged or is malfunctioning, which will temporarily halt the suppression agent release countdown.
  • Battery Trouble: The standby backup batteries have dropped below the required operating voltage or have failed their automatic load test.
