Common EST Quickstart QS4 Trouble Codes
- Map Fault: The physical wiring of the Signature Series devices does not match the electronic map programmed into the panel’s memory (often caused by a replaced or dirty detector).
- Ground Fault: A field wire on a Signature data loop or notification circuit is touching the metal conduit or panel enclosure.
- Comm Fault (Communication Failure): The panel is unable to send signals to the monitoring station, often due to a disconnected phone line or cellular communicator issue.
- Battery Fault: The standby backup batteries have dropped below the required 24VDC operating voltage or failed their automatic load test.
