⚠️ Status: Obsolete
The EST2 is a legacy addressable panel. Replacement main boards are no longer manufactured. A full system upgrade is highly recommended.
Common EST2 Trouble Codes
- Map Fault: The physical wiring of the Signature Series devices does not match the electronic map programmed into the panel’s memory (often caused by a replaced or dirty detector).
- Ground Fault: A field wire on a Signature data loop or notification circuit is touching the metal conduit or panel enclosure.
- Open Circuit (SLC): The Signaling Line Circuit (data loop) communication has been broken due to a cut wire, loose terminal, or missing device.
- Battery Fault: The standby batteries have dropped below the required 24VDC operating voltage or failed their automatic load test.

The EST2 is a discontinued legacy panel, meaning finding replacement parts for a failing system can be difficult and expensive. If your building is plagued by persistent map faults or trouble beeps, our technicians can diagnose your Signature data loops and provide a fast, compliant panel upgrade quote for your Austin facility.
