The EST FireShield Plus is a legacy conventional panel. Finding replacement main boards is increasingly difficult. A full system upgrade is highly recommended.

Common EST FireShield Plus Trouble Codes

  • Zone Trouble: The conventional initiating device circuit (IDC) has an open wire or a missing end-of-line (EOL) resistor.
  • Ground Fault: A field wire on a zone or notification circuit is touching the metal conduit or panel enclosure.
  • NAC Trouble: A Notification Appliance Circuit (horn/strobe loop) has an open or short circuit preventing proper operation.
  • Battery Trouble: The standby backup batteries have dropped below the required 24VDC operating voltage or failed their automatic load test.
