The EST2 is a legacy addressable panel. Replacement main boards are no longer manufactured. A full system upgrade is highly recommended.

Common EST2 Trouble Codes

  • Map Fault: The physical wiring of the Signature Series devices does not match the electronic map programmed into the panel’s memory (often caused by a replaced or dirty detector).
  • Ground Fault: A field wire on a Signature data loop or notification circuit is touching the metal conduit or panel enclosure.
  • Open Circuit (SLC): The Signaling Line Circuit (data loop) communication has been broken due to a cut wire, loose terminal, or missing device.
  • Battery Fault: The standby batteries have dropped below the required 24VDC operating voltage or failed their automatic load test.
