Good News: The Altronix AL602ULADA is still manufactured. We carry replacement boards, batteries, and power supplies for this unit in our Austin warehouse.
Common Altronix AL602ULADA Trouble Codes
- AC LED OFF (AC Fail): The unit has lost 120VAC power. Check the main circuit breaker or the 5A/250V input fuse on the power supply board.+1
- DC LED OFF (No Output): The 24VDC output has failed. This usually indicates a blown fuse, a short circuit on the loop, or a dead main board.
- OUTPUT LED BLINKING (Loop Trouble): An open or short circuit exists on that specific Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC). The blink pattern tells you if it is a current trouble (long blink) or memory (short blink).+2
- BAT FAIL (Bat Fail Terminals): The backup batteries have dropped below 21VDC or are missing entirely. Altronix power supplies require two 12V 7AH or 12AH batteries.

Are your strobes flashing out of sync? The Altronix AL602ULADA is the workhorse of fire alarm power, but improper dip-switch settings can cause strobes to drift or fail. Whether you need a simple battery replacement, a new logic board, or a full system test, our technicians can verify your ‘Sync Protocol’ is set correctly for System Sensor, Wheelock, or Gentex devices.
